Great Weekend!!

Well, the weekend started off really well with Jessica and I visiting Isabelle on Friday to give her the birthday present we got her since we weren't going to be able to go to her birthday party. We went to dinner with Matt, Jenn, Graham, Isabelle and Owen and enjoyed spending some time with them. Then on Saturday Jessica had a volleyball tournament, they played great and ended up coming in 3rd overall. Brannon was also beginning a two day baseball tournament on Saturday which ended today. They came in 1st overall. Oh yeah, Alabama won, Auburn and Tennessee lost!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!!

NAWIC Convention and a Trip to DISNEY

The week of Labor Day I went to Orlando for the National Association of Women in Construction Annual Convention. Since I've never been to Disney World this was a great opportunity for those of us going to the Convention to leave a few days early and hit the Disney Parks. I had a great time riding roller coasters, water rides and let's not forget the Tower of Terror. Although it was hot, the weather was great and we only got rained on once. Can't wait till next year's convention...we're heading to VEGAS!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for Jessica & Brannon. Brannon's first day of middle school and Jessica's first day of high school! I'm feeling so old! Brannon wasn't very nervous, but he had Hunter riding to school with him so he didn' t have to go in alone. Jessica on the other hand was very nervous about her first official day of high school. I'm glad to report that both of them had a great first day and are now back to their normal selves...if you can call any teenager normal!!

Graham's 3rd Birthday

I didn't get a picture of the cake or of him opening any of his gifts, but I got some of the kids having a great time!

Jennifer's 30th Birthday!

So, Jennifer finally turned 30 this year! Matt threw her a surprise party, and it actually stayed a surpise up until the very last minute. We all had a great time celebrating this milestone with Jennifer.

VACATION AT LAST!!!

Now that it' s almost time for school to start back, we finally got to head to the beach for a much needed vacation. Since the World Series was the same week, we got to hang out with friends and family. I'm so sad that it's over!

World Series in Panama City Beach, FL

Brannon's baseball World Series was at the beach this year, so we incorporated our vacation with the tournament. The weather was perfect...it was overcast while we were at the ballpark, so we stayed cool and on the days we were at the beach the weather and the water was beautiful! They placed 5th (not too bad) and we all had a great time.
