And The Braces Are Finally Gone!

Jesssica finally had her braces taken off after two and a half years. Take a look at the before and after pictures!

Jessica just called to tell me that she passed her Driver's Permit test. She is so excited and I'm excited for her. Well, watch out everybody she is legally able to operate a motor vehicle with a licensed driver in the car! SCARY!!

Community Service

Recently, my company - M. J. Harris, held a toy drive for the Children's Hospital. On Friday a few of us went to the hospital to deliver the toys. Once we arrived we found out that we were actually going to be able to deliver the toys to some of the children in the hospital. This was an amazing experience! As hard as it was to see some of these children it was great to see the smiles on their faces when they got to pick out a new toy!

Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out is always lots of fun. I know we all look forward to it every month. It's great to see each other, hang out and just catch up on everyone's life. I'm already looking forward to next month! See everyone then!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Our Thanksgiving holiday was great! We enjoyed the company of family and of course ate way too much!

Way To Go Jess!!!

We checked the mail today and had a letter from Thompson High School addressed to the Parents of Jessica Nicole Crane. This doesn't alarm us, because as most of you know Jessica is a pretty good kid. We've gotten lots of letters in the past from her schools about her academic achievements, so I figured this was one of those. This one was the best so far though! Jessica is being honored on December 12th at 8:30 am as one of the top 30 students in her grade. This is a huge accomplishment considering there are 500 students in her grade! We are so proud of her!

Volleyball Banquet

The volleyball coaches held a banquet for this year's Volleyball teams. We ate and had a great time. The girls all recieved certificates for their participation in the program. GO WARRIORS!!

Powder Puff Football

Jessica played in the Powder Puff football game this year. The 9th graders played the 10th graders and unfortunately they got beat pretty bad...33-0. But, at least they had a good time!

Homecoming 2007

Homecoming as usual was a big deal for Jessica. The school normally has the homecoming dance on Saturday night since everyone is at the game on Friday. Well, this year they decided to have it on Friday night after the game. so the students rebelled and planned their own. The "Other Homecoming" was held at Anna Irvin Hall at the Univeristy of Montevallo on October 27th. Jessica went with Jake Hester and they had a great time!

Happy Halloween

The Sumrall's had their Annual Halloween Party this year on the same day I was supposed to be in Chattanooga. I decided to come back Saturday afternoon rather than Sunday so we could go and see everyone. Since it was last minute we didn't wear costumes, but we had a great time!

Chattanooga Trip

Another NAWIC trip took me to Chattanooga, TN this time. I've only been one other time, but it was only long enough to go the the Aquarium, Ruby Falls and the IMAX Theater and back home. This time I got to stay for a few days and realized I wasn't missing much! We stayed at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, which was pretty neat...but there really wasn't a whole lot to do. Don't worry, we girls managed to have fun anyway!

Baseball, Baseball & More Baseball!!

This weekend Brannon played in a tournament with the Young Guns in Helena. They played hard and did a great job...they came in 2nd place overall. Way to go Young Guns!!

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

Once a month some of us girls try to get out of the house, without the husbands or the kids and just enjoy each others company. Here are a couple pics from this month's GNO.

Great Weekend!!

Well, the weekend started off really well with Jessica and I visiting Isabelle on Friday to give her the birthday present we got her since we weren't going to be able to go to her birthday party. We went to dinner with Matt, Jenn, Graham, Isabelle and Owen and enjoyed spending some time with them. Then on Saturday Jessica had a volleyball tournament, they played great and ended up coming in 3rd overall. Brannon was also beginning a two day baseball tournament on Saturday which ended today. They came in 1st overall. Oh yeah, Alabama won, Auburn and Tennessee lost!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!!

NAWIC Convention and a Trip to DISNEY

The week of Labor Day I went to Orlando for the National Association of Women in Construction Annual Convention. Since I've never been to Disney World this was a great opportunity for those of us going to the Convention to leave a few days early and hit the Disney Parks. I had a great time riding roller coasters, water rides and let's not forget the Tower of Terror. Although it was hot, the weather was great and we only got rained on once. Can't wait till next year's convention...we're heading to VEGAS!
