Christmas 2006

As always I look forward to Christmas every year. I love spending time with family and all of us being able to be together. We got to spend time with almost everyone. Unfortunately, Daddy and Kay were sick so we didn't get to see them for Christmas this year.

Jessica's Homecoming

Homecoming is almost as important as prom these days. A group of 8th graders, rode in a limo to dinner at Stix before being delivered in fashionable style to their Homecoming Dance at Thompson Middle School. Things sure have changed since I was that age!!

Jessica and Jake before the dance. No, this is not her date, but a very good friend. However, they do make a cute couple!

Three guys & eleven girls...those guys are feeling pretty lucky right now! I can't say the same for the limo driver who now has to deal with fourteen 13-year olds!

A quick lesson on how to work the radio from the driver who is obviously worried about them breaking it!

And now we are ready to go!!

Mom's Trip to Kansas City

I left on September 2nd and came back on September 10th. It was a great trip and I had a lot of fun but I missed Lee and the kids. I think they even missed me a little bit too! I went down for a convention that started on the 6th, but a few of us went down a little early so we could do some site seeing. Here are a few pics:

Ginger, Deb, Laney, Me, Rhonda & Alecia at one of the many fountains in Kansas City.

So this picture is a little blurry, but it's me shaking hands with Steadman Graham (Oprah's boyfriend).

Me and Ginger ready to for the Gala on our last night there. (We clean up pretty well!)

Beach Trip 2006

We (me, Lee, Brannon, Jessica, Deborah & Laney) took our family vacation to Panama City Beach, FL and stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree. We all had a great time hanging out at the beach and the pool. The weather was great and for the first two days the water was beautiful. I even got in about waist deep and most of you know that I don't like going out in the ocean. Jessica was even talked into going out to the sandbar, but I don't think she'll be doing it again! We ate lots of great food and enjoyed all of it. We played goofy golf, rode go carts (actually only Brannon & Deb did) and even did a little shopping. Cant' wait to go back again next year! Check out the pictures from our vacation below.
